Dreamers are overcomers...
....or so they say about those bleary-eyed people crazy enough to get into the roll-up-your-sleeves business of making food.
The work is hard and satisfying taste is a tender matter. It always starts out innocently enough and before we knew it, we were cooking seven-course meal in a kitchen where the electricity trips when two kettles are on and a full house awaits dinner on backless hard wooden benches.
We met during our university days at Oxford and spent more time food shopping, cooking and eating than reading in the library. We went into finance in New York and London, like many of our generation, making a living before having a life.
We have always been people with plans, and not necessarily with purpose. Nam Charm is our chance to live for a purpose, and cross fingers that the plans will follow.
